NanoPad Lite is a freeware version of NanoPad which has a small but growing number of loyal users because it offers the following advantages: ---- NanoPad does not reduce the screen space available to running applications. NanoPad uses a user resizable 3x3 rectangular grid for user input. You can change its size to what is comfortable for a variety of situations. The NanoPad grid can be "undocked" and moved about the screen to where it is least in the way or most convenient. You can quickly view the entire screen with a simple tap and hold of the "status strip". ---- NanoPad itself is very small, fast and accurate due to it's use of unique and innovative character recognition algorithms. The only file required, NanoPadl.dll, is less than 32Kbytes in size. ---- NanoPad is easy to learn, most users learn to use NanoPad quickly especially after reading the help file or web pages at least once. ---- NanoPad is capable of generating the entire character set found on a normal computer keyboard without switching to a keyboard type layout entering shift sequences for special characters. ---- Supports auto character repeat. ---- The Lite version has all the features of the full version of NanoPad except entry of Alt characters, Function Key Macros and only limited control of the NanoPad grid by other applications.
