Description:
MoneyHarp is a personal moneytracker for Windows Mobile designed to be friendly and flexible. Whatever you do - you need just your finger and several seconds.

And you can do a lot:
* Everything is finger-friendly!
* Quick start - and you can see your current position or add new record right away.
> Summary gives you a quick idea on how much money do you have on each account.tip: tap account to quickly filter the transactions list.
> For each entry in transaction list you can immediately see the date and sum, expense category / payee: e.g. Groceries / Walmart. For account transfers you will see from and to accounts, e.g. Credit Card -> Cash.List can be scrolled quickly to any record; tap record to edit or delete.
> You can apply custom filter to the transactions list. how: go to menu>Filters, select filter (or add new one), tap 'Apply filter' - you will be returned to transactions list, now filtered. Tap 'clear filter' if you want to see all data again.
> Adding new transaction is always at hand - tap 'Add new transaction'.
> From the front screen you can easily navigate to budgets list, and through menu - to all the data you have.

* Adding new record is clear and straightforward: several taps with your finger and you're done. You can add new tags in-place; and keyboard is finger-friendly too.
> Tap 'Add new transaction' in list or summary view. First enter expense or income sum.
> Then any other detail you wish to enter: expense/income category, payee, account, date, your tags. When adding several transactions in a row, MoneyHarp will reuse account, payee and date from previously entered transaction.
> And you can add any peace of data right here, in case it's not on the list yet - tap 'New'.
tip: to enter account transfer, select from incomes and expenses list (last record)
> Never use stylus - keyboard is finger-friendly too. When letters are combined, hold key to switch between them. Tap text to save your changes. However, you can switch to standard keyboard.
how: go to menu>Options>Keyboard.

* Organize and add/edit/delete any expense, income or payee, and add any number of your custom tags to the record. No limits.
> MoneyHarp comes with predefined list of expense and income categories. Go to menu>Lists. There you will also find all the other lists: accounts, currencies, currency rates, payees.
> You can delete or edit everything - tap entry to see actions. As well as add your own data of course - tap 'Add new'. Lists are sorted by name.
tip: if you use some payee or income/expense frequently and want it to be on top of the list, just put space in front of its name.
> Set default account to use when adding new transaction.
how: tap account, tap 'default'
> If you use several currencies, you can set which currency is 'home' - total balance in summary and list is be calculated in home currency.
> Tags can be used to mark transaction with some additional information, just like you tag e.g. your blog entry.
> You can have several categories grouped under one, to have reports calculated by main category and then drilled down to individual categories.E.g. you can group all your Auto expenses, or, you could group your location tags under 'Travel' tag.how: to make an existing entry a sub-category of another entry, tap entry you want to add to group, tap 'move' (the screen will say 'Select parent...'), scroll to the group entry (parent) and tap it, 'apply'.
You can also add new category directly as a sub-category of existing one:how: tap existing entry, e.g. expense 'Auto' - 'New Expense' button will become 'New sub of Auto'

* Reports that clearly show your where the money goes: from the overview you can drill down to transaction. No hassle.
> Direct approach to reporting - short and informative. Go to menu>Reports to see list of reports.
> You can go down from big picture to detail to individual record - tap report bar to drill down and 'level up' to go back to previous view. You can easily navigate back in forward in time with your report - tap left and right arrows below.
> By applying filter first, you can virtually get any view of your data. E.g. you can run expenses report by all records, or you can filter by some Payee first and then see what expenses do you have for that Payee only.
how: in report list, tap 'Apply filter', select filter (or add new one), 'apply' - you will be returned to report list. Tap 'clear filter' if you want to see all data again.

* Filter by anything. As you can run reports on filtered data, this gives you unlimited flexibility and power to find out all hidden secrets of your own expenses.
> Go to menu>Filters to create and apply new filter, or apply one of the filters you created before. You can apply your filter easily from transactions list or reports list - tap 'Apply filter'
> You can filter by anything - expense, payee, account, sum, date. All conditions you set will be combined - e.g. you can choose to view records only for 1 of your payees, with the sum over 100$.
> Just check the entries you want to see. You can select one or several - e.g. if you select several expenses, you will see records for all those expenses.
> Try filters together with reports - a powerful tool in your hands: tap 'Apply filter' in reports list. Tap 'clear filter' to return to normal view.

* Budgets get hold of any kind of spendings (or savings) you want to control.
> Go to 'budget', tap 'Add new budget'. You can put a budget limit on any expense, payee or tag, in any combination. Budget limit less than 0, e.g. -100, means you don't want to spend more than 100 in your home currency on something. You can also put a positive budget on your income, setting targets to achieve. Then 'left:' will show how much you still have to earn, 'over:' means you've earned a lot:)
> Easily see where are you now related to the limits you've set: first line is budget name and your limit value; second line displays current time period, actual balance for that period and difference between limit and actual. If you've spent less than your limit, it will show 'left:', if you're over limit - 'over:'.
> Set the time period to control - current day, week, month or some exact dates. You can move the start of the month - e.g. if you get your salary on 10th each month, you can adjust the month period to start on 10th.
> Getting the history record of your budget for previous time periods is easy as pie.
how: tap budget, tap 'Show budget report'.
You can also see list of actual transactions in this budget for current time period.
how: tap budget, tap 'drill'.

* Schedule your frequent transactions not to forget them and avoid routine.
> To schedule payment or income when you create or edit it, tap 'Date', tap 'Schedule'.
> Your record will be marked as 'scheduled' in list, its date will show next schedule occurrence.
New transaction will be inserted automatically each time the schedule is due.
> Each week or each several weeks - by 1 or more week days.
> Monthly by day number, e.g. 15th of each month.
> Or monthly by day and week, e.g. each 2nd Friday of month.

* Split transactions.
> When editing transaction, select from Income/Expense list.
> Now you are able to edit the total transaction sum, as before, and a list of sub-entries - tap on 'Split:'.
> Add and edit individual sub-entries and set sum and income/expense category for each separately.
> In split entries list, you can see total transaction amount and sum in split.
tip: tap 'Adjust' to set total transaction amount equal to sum of split entries. Tap 'back' to return to main entry edit.

* Currency conversion with rate history.
> You can add and edit currencies in menu>Lists>Currencies.
In menu>Lists>Currency rates you can enter currency conversion rates you need, each rate effective starting from exact date.
how: tap 'add rate', select the currency from which to convert and target currency, edit rate value and starting from which date this rate is effective.
> MoneyHarp will automatically apply these rates when currency of your expense differs from account currency - e.g. while on a trip you paid 1000 Yen in cafe using your credit card. When saving foreign currency transaction, you will see conversion screen: applied rate is displayed on top (e.g. 'USD/EUR=0.7'); you can manually adjust the converted sum so it precisely reflects you spendings, or you can adjust rate by tapping rate.
