Perfect Balance Pocket PC is your personal finance organizer. This Pocket PC software can help you manage your money flow better and more easily. How? With this program you can split your money flow into separate pots such as (for example) money for your holiday, money for your car, credit card account, banks accounts, and so on. Within the program these pots are called accounts. For example, if you are planning a holiday trip to Paris Hilton, you can create an account "Holiday in Paris Hilton". In this account you'll record your expenses (maybe income too!) related to this trip. Actually, Perfect Balance presents a snapshot of your financial situation at a moment, or, personal finance statement.

Perfect Balance Pocket PC can really help you keep your Personal Finance in order. It focuses on making the registration of your transactions simple and quick. It has a highly intuitive interface, so actually you don't need to learn how to use it. You just use it. Entering a transaction is just a matter of a few clicks. A complete list of your accounts and their transactions is then presented in a clear and very descriptive way.

This Pocket PC software lets you not only register your transactions and categorize them to different accounts, but also view different kind of statistics within a specified date range, such as Transaction reports and Account balances. All those statistics can also be exported in Comma Separated Values (CSV) files.

Navigating Within Perfect Balance Pocket PC

Perfect Balance displays on its main view a list of your registered transactions for a current account. If you don't have any registration, the list will be empty. The list displays such attributes as date, category, and amount. Transactions are ordered by their dates of recording. To sort the transactions list, tap on the column Date.

Before you record any transaction, please, choose the right account, or create one. You can choose an account name from the combo box Accounts. When you're sure that the current account is one you want to work with, you can start to enter and/or edit your transactions.

There are two menu groups available on the main view: Accounts and Tools.

Export Registered Transactions

Perfect Balance allows to export your registered transactions for a current account in Comma Separated Values (CSV) files. Here is an example of Perfect Balance export file:

Export file will be saved on your Pocket PC (in folder of your choice: Business or Personal), using the extension .csv reserved for the CSV file type.

Transactions Report for Current Account

Perfect Balance lets you view the statistics (for current account) of transactions registered under different categories within the selected date range.

You can also export these statistics in a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file.

Total Balance

Your total balance for all accounts can be also exported in a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file.

Changing Decimal Symbol and Digit Grouping Symbol

There are differences in how Europeans and Americans (and others) represent their digit grouping symbol and decimal symbol, and this can be a somewhat complicated problem.

In the US, commas (",") are used as grouping symbols, and periods (".") as decimal symbols. So, in the US a number would be written 38,420.23 whereas in Europe, that same number would be written 38.420,23, to represent the same amount of "Thirty eight thousand, four hundred twenty, and twenty three one hundredths".

Perfect Balance allows you to set your own Pocket PC finance Digit Grouping Symbol.

You can get help at any time simply by tapping the Help command on the Start menu of your Pocket PC. When Perfect Balance is visible on the Pocket PC screen, Help will display details and hints how to use this personal finance organizer.
