Info/description:

This is basically a remote control for your computer's media player software. This software allows you to control your Computer's Media Player from anywhere in the world through SMS messages.

Your run this simple program on your Pocket PC and you are able to switch songs, pause/play, and stop music from anywhere in the world through SMS.

You of course must be running a program on the computer as well. Both programs are included, the PC part uses AIM to recieve SMS messages so you will have to sign up for a screen name for your media manager at AIM.com, but that is a quick and simple process and then everything goes smoothly.

It sucks very little battery life and you don't need wireless or an internet plan, it also allows your computer to run the software from behind a firewall. The other programs that do this require you be outside your firewall running a server program and that your Pocket PC be connected to the internet which sucks battery life like no other.

Requirements:

* You must have internet access on your PC with Media Player software (Windows Media Player is prefered).
* Must sign up for or already have an AIM ScreenName (will sign you off if you use your main one, sign up for a new one! they are free).
* Must have a text messaging plan on your Windows Mobile Phone (Pocket PC) otherwise this will get expensive FAST!
* Must have Windows Mobile 5/6 with the .NET compact framwork v2.0 with SP2 installed (mine came with this installed, if not you can download the file from Microsoft and install it on your PC and Phone, it takes up about 5mb on your phone so it's not a big deal).
* Must have patience, it sometimes takes 2 seconds to get the message to the computer. Don't hit the button 500 times, just wait a second..
