Description:
The Pocket PC Geocaching Tools (or short: PPC-GC-Tools) are your (almost) one for all solution, if you want to go geocaching without tons of printouts (paperless). It uses an offline database, namely a GSAK database, so you won't need online access. Click here for more info.

Use with GSAK 7.7.0.67 or higher. Just copy your GSAK 7.7+ database file (sqlite.db3) to your Windows Mobile device and open it directly. Also included is support for GSAK grabbed images and spoilers created with SpoilerSync. So, everything you need to have offline on your device.

What is it not?
A navigation software. It doesn't support any GPS. It will not show you the direction to a cache.

Place Search Databases:
Download, unzip and copy these databases to your device to be able to set the center point to a specific place in the available countries. Data is taken from www.geonames.org.

Requirements:
- The PPC-GC-Tools run on Windows Mobile Professional devices (with touchscreen).
- You need at least WM 2003 up to WM 6.5.
- Resolutions from 240x240 up to 800x480 are supported. Portrait and landscape.
- If not installed, please install the .net Compact Framework 3.5 before.

Update Description:
v.4.0.0 - requires GSAK 7.7.3.14 or higher (05-11-2010):
- Enabled all database edit functions again (has to be enabled in the settings):
o Set a cache to found/DNF.
o Set a cache to FTF.
o Edit corrected coordinates.
o Edit user notes and log section.
o Options to ask, what should be done, when a cache is set to found/DNF.
o It's possible to copy all results from the Solver into the user note.
o It's now possible to create Field Notes for a selected date based on the found date in the database.
- The HTML Viewer doesn't load the last opened page anymore, as this caused problems on some devices.
- Changed appearance completely.
- Moved setting of Field Notes path to settings screen.
- Folder selection screen uses 32x32 icons on VGA devices now.
- BUGFIX: A click on Reset in the Solver resets the correct second expression now.
- Improved Grabbed Images support.
- BUGFIX: Fixed a problem when the path for the place search database contains spaces.
- Added support for new geocaching.com cache attributes.
- Added wait cursor, when opening a database.
- Added function to the context menu to add the current date/time or CacheCount to the Field Notes log.
- Added icon for new log type "Announcement".
- It's now possible to add and remove fields for the cache overview.
- Uses new files.db3 for grabbed images as introduced in GSAK 7.7.3.14.
- BUGFIX: Fixed a problem with the Field Notes, when a cache was found before 10:00.
- If you have entered something into the log section and create a Field Note afterwards the log text will be copied.
- BUGFIX: If there is only something entered into the log section it's now saved correctly.
- Changed control for coordinate functions to be more finger friendly.

This is the last major release of this software
. That means, that no new features will be implemented and from now on only bugfixes and GSAK compatibility fixes are provided.

Therefore the following things will never be implemeted:
- GPS support.
- vCard import.
- Calculation of intersections of two circles.
