Skweezer and Advertizer Win Mobile Star Awards |

Greenlight Wireless Corporation today announced that its Skweezer? and Advertizer? products have both won a prestigious Gold Star in the 2006 Mobile Star Awards? hosted by MobileVillage?.
The fifth annual Mobile Star Awards aim to honor and promote the best companies, products, deployments, and leaders in mobile and wireless technology. Winners were chosen by subscribers to Go Mobile, MobileVillage?s free online newsletter sent to technology executives, mobile professionals, IT managers, developers, and top tech journalists. Skweezer won a Gold Star in the Personal Software: Mobile Web Content Provider category for the second year in a row and Advertizer won a Gold Star in the Enterprise Software: Mobile Marketing category.
"The Mobile Star Awards program has grown along with the mobile industry," says MobileVillage Editor Gary Thayer. Skweezer is a free service that optimizes Web pages, searches, and e-mail for use on PDAs and cell phones. Mobile Internet users access Skweezer by visiting www.skweezer.net, then use the portal as a "wireless gateway" to browse and search the Web. Skweezer compresses and reformats content being downloaded, so that it loads faster, looks better, and is easier to navigate. Skweezer includes an e-mail client, RSS reader, address book, site directory, and other useful features designed specifically for the mobile environment. Skweezer is completely platform independent and can be accessed from Pocket PC, Palm, MS Smartphone, Blackberry, Symbian, PSP2, and WAP 2.0 compliant devices. Skweezer is also available as a "private label" solution for wireless carriers and content providers.
Advertizer is the world's first internationally-consumed mobile advertising service, having served mobile ads in over 175 countries since its release in 2004. Advertizer is an advertising "auction house", where multiple top-tier ad suppliers bid real-time for each ad request. The winning ads, selected by a combination of relevance and price, are passed on to the distributor through a single ad feed that works in both the mobile and desktop environments.
