Esnatech Extends Enterprise Communications to J2ME Enabled Devices
New Java based application provides Presence and enhances fixed to mobile convergence for enterprise Unified Communications.

Esnatech, a leader in unified communications platforms, announced today the support for J2ME enabled wireless devices with its UC Mobile Link software. The new J2ME version will be available for the next release of its unified communications platform Telephony Office-LinX. UC Mobile link delivers enhanced Presence and fixed to mobile convergence for a wide range of wireless devices with enterprise PBX systems such as Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, Nortel, Iwatsu, AASTRA, 3COM, Asterisk, etc.). It provides a complete communications & collaboration solution for mobile users, integrating presence, messaging, mobility and computer telephony to users over mobile devices. The integration of unified communications onto these wireless devices will dramatically increase the ability of mobile users to connect to the office and be able to communicate as if they were at their desk.

"Mobile sales teams already value the productivity gains realized from using wireless devices. Delivering fixed to mobile convergence over a wide variety of wireless devices with existing enterprise PBX infrastructure opens the door to incredible productivity gains and cost savings within the enterprise," offers Davide Petramala Global VP Marketing for Esnatech. "Users can see who is called them on their office phone in real-time, giving them the power to control their mobility and deliver true productivity gains when they are out of the office. If they need to find someone they can simply open UC Mobile link on their device of choice and see who is online/offline and available to communicate."

With the new UC Mobile link software users of Esnatech's Unified Communications platform would have access to the following features directly from their wireless devices:

- Users can Manage their office presence and integrate with enterprise Presence solutions such as Microsoft Live Communication ServerŪ
- Users can define their presence even when on the mobile phone to their colleagues in the office
- See and find the presence and availability of colleagues in the office
- Dial internal extensions directly from mobile phone
- Initiate and or participate in enterprise Instant messaging sessions
- View complete call history, including real-time view of inbound, outbound and missed calls to and from your office phone
- Manage live office calls directly from their mobile device

The new mobile application loads on the J2ME enabled devices such as Nokia Series 60, Series 80, & Sony Ericsson UIQ P800/P900/P910/P990 and connects via IP to the Telephony office-LinX platform that is connected to both the enterprise PBX and e-mail platform. Users will have the ability to view their work groups and see who is online and available. With access to real time status they can then chose the best way to communicate with co-workers. This will dramatically improve the connectivity of the wireless users to their office environment and improve productivity by deliver anywhere anytime access to critical resources.

If the organization is leveraging a Microsoft Live communication server then Mobile UC Link will deliver real time presence using the telephony Office-LinX as a gateway to live LCS status. Users will also have access to Instant messaging, SMS text messaging, Find me- Follow me mobility settings, Location based routing, and station to station dialing directly from their J2ME enabled device.
