Pocket WiFi Radar
Makayama Software releases Pocket WiFi Radar 1.0 today. The Pocket PC version of it’s popular Easy WiFi Radar tool, lets mobile users scan and connect to open WiFi access points with one click. Pocket PC users may walk around while it keeps scanning untill it finds a free internet connection and gets your mail: WiFi for Dummies.

Pocket WiFi Radar will connect to open hotspots automatically and shows the user exactly what it is doing in an animated radar screen. The software helps people connect to free wireless access points while on the road, with a single mouseclick. Get your mail and browse the web without being charged. The ideal WiFi-tool for frequent travellers and mobile professionals.

Watch TV, make Skype calls and IM: everything’s possible with a free WiFi connection. But if you have ever tried to use the Pocket PC’s built-in connection manager, you know what a hassle it can be to quickly check your mail or browse the web on the go. You will have to tap multiple buttons, wait, manually browse through a list of networks and connect to one, wait again and then launch your email. Many Pocket PC users don’t use the built-in WiFi because it’s so complicated to connect.

Pocket WiFi Radar automates all of this. It’s main goal is to let you get your mail or surf the web as quickly as possible, without having to go through all of the connection trouble, and without having to pull your creditcard.

You may walk around and it will keep scanning untill it finds a free internet connection for you. It plays a sound and opens your webbrowser as soon as it succesfully finds an open, unsecured access point. But you may also use it to connect to your WEP-secured access point, or open any other program when it connects.
