Mobifusion's India Operations - Award-Winning Mobile Developer Celebrates First Year with Explosive Growth |

Mobifusion, a U.S.-based pioneer in the world ofmobilemedia with growing operations in India, announced it has reached its one year anniversary in India. Founded by Pavan Mandhani, Mobifusion’s Indian operations was setup in partnership with ORG Informatics LTD. of India (publicly listed on Mumbai Stock Exchange) and is making great achievements in the fast growing world of mobile software development.
“We’ve grown from two employees just a year ago to a team of 40 while building a host of impressive corporate partnerships, including Vodafone Essar, one of the biggest Indian mobile operators and Encyclopedia Britannica, the authority in reference books just to name a few,” said Prashant Gupta, managing director of Mobifusion’s operations in India. “Our partnerships with a host of first-class publishers and operators have given us the base we need for continued growth so that we become an even larger player in the worldwide mobile content arena.”
In the past year, Mobifusion has also become the mobile applications provider for a host of operators in various markets including India, Malaysia and the United States. Mandhani credits the company’s engineering team as the “defense” of the organization. “In our first year operating out of India, our engineers are credited with helping us become one of the few companies that has released multi-modal products in WAP, MMS, Java, Symbian, WinMobile and Palm, receiving several awards ,” noted Mandhani. “Taking the company a step further, we’ve also invested in our own patented mPublishing and mEngineering software giving us not only another edge among our competition, but also several awards from SmartPhone and Pocket PC Magazine.”
