Another Way to Watch Internet Video |
|
In our earlier post, our friends at AllShadow.com showed us how to load TCMP (The Core Media Player) onto our devices to watch YouTube and other internet videos. However, there is another solution by Avot Media called the AvotMV player, which is still currently in beta. The software is a free download. The AvotMV player allows you to search and play internet videos in a self-contained application. It allows you to search through multiple databases of videos (YouTube, Google, etc) at the same time. The software will work with WM 6 Standard (Smartphone) and Professional/Classic (Pocket PC) editions. While the videos played fine, on my Tilt there was still a lot of stuttering despite in a good 3G/HSDPA area. Your performance may vary. Below are two demo videos taken from the Avot Media site.
