SR Virtual has announced the development of the protoype for SendChat, a state-of-the-art, voice-to-text SMS and VoIP call application. The solution's technology is expected to allow users to place free calls from any pocket PC or handheld device and send SMS text messages by simply talking into the mobile phones.
Users will be able to effortlessly download the new application to any cell phone, from any phone network. SR Virtual emphasizes that the solution will be easy to install, as is any mobile phone ringtone or game. The application will also feature other services, like 411 information and other voice activated services, as well as e-mail/text translation of voice mails.
SendChat will use complex "SR smart technology," which will redefine each individual user's vernacular and diction with every use. SendChat will thus enable the product to both adapt and strengthen the accuracy of each translation. SR Virtual explains that by using a powerful Voice Recognition Server, which will process and send out SMS messages, SendChat will allow any user of any network to send text voice messages.
Also, there is no need for different version creations or upgrades, special phones, or tools. The company adds that any phone on any network can be used, and it will integrate with any mobile interface.
Ray Galan, co-founder of SR Virtual, said his company is committed to dominating the new media market, which includes Internet, mobile, and other services with cost-effective technology intended to provide convenience and functionality to every user.
Galan pointed out that it is SR Virtual's goal to also integrate its products globally, in as many dominant markets as possible, transcribed in different languages and dialects. Free versions of the software are set to launched right away.
SR Virtual further explains that the VoIP call feature enabled in SendChat works by using a WiFi connection from any mobile device, allowing users to call anyone in the world using their companies' Internet-based calling features. The VoIP call feature will also be voice activated and can dial anyone at any time. Because it will be compatible with PCs and Macs, any user can take full advantage when at home or in the office.
Use of VoIP and its application are on the rise worldwide. According to a new report by Report Buyer, the number of traditional fixed-line customers continued to drop sharply during 2007, with Verizon andAT&T both reporting declines of around 10 percent in residential wireline accounts. The report titled, 2008 USA - Telecoms, Wireless, and Broadband, claims that growth in VoIP was a major contributor to this decline, in particular cable VoIP, with subscriber growth rates around 75 percent.
