Mobile developer iambic's updated its travel application, TripTracker, to version 4.0., with a redesigned user interface to ease data entry and navigation.
The software, for Windows Mobile, promises to hold trip essentials, such as your itinerary (hotel, airline, rental car) and frequent flyer account details. It also includes utilities like a currency converter, a world time clock, a distance calculator, and a time calculator that's supposed to simplify scheduling appointments across time zones.
TripTracker synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook and a desktop version of the program, which is available separately. Version 4.0 of TripTracker for Windows Mobile, Pocket PC edition sells for $19.95
A Windows Mobile Smartphone version is in development and should be available near the end of Q2 this year, according to iambic. A bundle that combines the Windows Mobile with the desktop edition goes for $29.95.
