Northern Lights Deploys GraphOn’s GO-Global to Web-enable Accounting Applications

GraphOn Corporation (OTCBB:GOJO), a leading worldwide developer of application publishing and Web-enabling software solutions, today announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Northern Lights Software, an independent software vendor (ISV) based in Fairfax, California.

Under terms of the agreement, Northern Lights will offer GraphOn’s GO-Global software to provide Web-enabled, thin-client access to its accounting and salary management software applications targeted at universities and non-profit agencies across the U.S. and abroad.

GO-Global is a fast, affordable, and secure application delivery solution that provides Web-enabled access to centrally-running applications from any local or remote platform and operating system, including Mac OS X, UNIX, Linux, Windows, Windows Mobile, and Pocket PC. With GO-Global server-based, cross-platform computing, there is no need for ISVs to modify applications for the Web or deploy complex infrastructure such as Microsoft Windows Terminal Server or Citrix.

"We are excited to have implemented the GO-Global architecture," said Northern Lights Product Manager Pertti Karjalainen. "We’re now able to offer ‘Application as a Service’ which makes a lot of business sense because it bypasses the constantly changing and increasingly complex local desktop and internal network operating environment. For our customers, GO-Global cuts down on IT time and resources that would otherwise be spent dealing with changing network and desktop configurations, operating system and program updates, and security and business continuity concerns. This is a significant selling point for us."

"We are pleased to announce this partnership with Northern Lights Software," said GraphOn Regional Manager Mike Ruggeri. "Like numerous other ISVs throughout the country and around the world, Northern Lights has discovered the ease and convenience of instantly Web-enabling existing applications with GO-Global, thereby eliminating the time, money, and effort normally required to rewrite applications for Web-enabled access."
