CompanionLink Software, a provider of mobile synchronization solutions, has announced that its CompanionLink for Google software is now compatible with the latest versions of Lotus Notes.
CompanionLink for Google synchronizes Lotus Notes contacts, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, calendar events, tasks, and alarms and reminders with a user's Google account.
Its two-way synchronization option ensures that any change to data in Google will synchronize back with Lotus Notes. In addition to contact and calendar data, it also synchronizes multiple Google calendars with Lotus Notes categories.
Priced at $29.95, the software is available from the company's Web site with free technical support. CompanionLink also provides a 14-day evaluation version which can be downloaded by going to companionlink.com/google.
"CompanionLink is the missing sync software for Lotus Notes and Google users," says Rushang Shah, director of marketing at CompanionLink Software. "Lotus Notes users no longer have to manually update their data in both their Google account and Lotus Notes software. Our set-and-forget software will automate that entire process."
In addition, CompanionLink for Google synchronizes recurring appointments, notes, and tasks from software like Microsoft Outlook, Palm Desktop, and ACT! by Sage to Google and Google Apps accounts. The software can be used to synchronize Google data with handheld devices based on the Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Apple iPhone and Palm OS platforms.
CompanionLink Software develops data synchronization solutions for mobile phones, PDAs and CRM software. They also provide OEM synchronization and solutions for companies like Sage Software, NVIDIA, Google, and Royal Consumer Electronic Products.
The company was nominated for the 2008 Best Software Award by Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine. CompanionLink for Google was nominated by a team of 94 Windows Mobile experts from a pool of 5,292 applications.
